My undergraduate education was completed at the State University of New York Geneseo, a primer honors liberal arts college where I attended Ella Cline Shear School of Education and received a dual major in Childhood Education and Special Education degree with a concentration in Mathematics. I was inducted in the Kappa Delta Pi: Epsilon Tau Honor Society Chapter. For the Mens Geneseo Varsity Lacrosse Team I was a four year scholar athlete and nominated to the Academic All-American Team my senior year. Upon finishing my undergraduate education a semester early I was contracted as a substitute teacher at York Elementary School in which I student taught. My Master's degree in Instructional Technology was completed at Coastal Carolina University (CCU). I took an active role in the Golden Key Honor Society: Coastal Carolina University Chapter. I was awarded a graduate assistantship in the IT department during my tenure at CCU. The experience I gained during the graduate assistantship as a teaching assistant, curriculum developer, and professional development instructor lead me to further my experience in the field of instructional technology. I am still currently employed at CCU as an online adjunct instructor for EDUC 204. I am now a first year Ph.D. student at the University of Georgia (UGA) within the Learning, Design, and Technology Department. I am an instructor of record for EDIT 2000 at UGA, and am a member of the RoboSTEM Research Team and SAE Agricultural Research Team. My research interest focuses on the motivation of elementary pre-service teachers to teach mathematics conceptually through the integration of basic coding language into a curricula. My future plans consist of completing my education and searching for tenure-track professorships. In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, wakeboarding, and spending time with family and friends.
